A caesarean scar ectopic pregnancy is considered to be the scarcest form of ectopic pregnancy and can lead to life-threatening hemorrhage during pregnancy or curettage and even to uterine break, disseminated intravascular clotting, or death. Caesarean section scar pregnancies have become more common because of the growing rate of caesarean deliveries.
