Paolo Tieri is a member of the Interdepartment Center for Bioinformatics, Biophysics and Biocomplexity, Univeristy of Bologna, and postdoc research fellow at the Deptartment of Experimental Pathology, University of Bologna, and at the BioPharmaNet research network of Emilia-Romagna region, Italy. He has completed his M.Sc. in Physics and received a Ph.D. in Systems Biology at University of Bologna.
