Biography
Dr. Kelly Elkins is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Director of Forensic Science at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. She earned her earned her PhD in Chemistry from Clark University in 2003. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Heidelberg, Germany from 2001to2002 and a Cancer Research Institute postdoctoral fellow at MIT from 2003 to2004.
Research Interest
Research Interests: Forensic DNA recovery and methods development, protein design, metal-ion specificity, DNA cloning, nanoparticle synthesis and applications.
