Biography

Dr. Bu Yin is an Investigator at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research at Boston, studying tumor immunology of hepatocellular carcinoma, and its relationship to infection from HepB and related viruses.Earned Ph.D. degree in Molecular Immunology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Conducted original research in DNA damage and response, how errors of this process in lymphocyte V D J recombination and Class Switch Recombination could lead to T or B cell leukemias/lymphomas and potentially autoimmune diseases.

Broad interests and expertise in DNA damage, cell cycle and cell death during immune responses.
